Heerenveen seal Kissi signing

Impressive performance
The defender has penned a two-year deal with a further two-year option just three weeks after the Bulgarian side lost 2-1 to Heerenveen in a pre-season friendly. That performance was enough to convince coach Gertjan Verbeek to make his move and the 25-year-old strengthens the club's bid to build on a fine 2004/05 campaign.

Possible clash
Heerenveen finished in the top five of the Eredivisie for the second season running and reached the UEFA Cup Round of 32, losing to Newcastle United FC. This term they enter the competition in the first round where they will meet Litex, whom Kissi leaves after less than eight months following a free transfer from FC Rubin Kazan in January.
