Achilles injury
Marseille captain Frédéric Déhu will miss the second leg of his side's UEFA Cup first round second leg against KFC Germinal Beerschot Antwerpen with an injured Achilles tendon. The 32-year-old central defender was injured after scoring in his side's 3-1 home win against FC Metz. The score in the tie is currently 0-0.

Cruciate damage
Meanwhile, Rennes captain Cyril Jeunechamp will be out for several months after he ruptured the anterior cruciate ligaments in his right knee during Rennes's goalless draw at RC Lens. The 29-year-old defender will now miss the second leg of his side's game against CA Osasuna in Spain. Rennes lead the tie 3-1.
