FC Lokomotiv Moskva have reinforced their squad ahead of the UEFA Cup Round of 32 by signing Malian international Draman Traoré from Tunisian side Club Africain for €1m.

The 23-year-old striker was joint top scorer in the Tunisian league with nine goals this season prior to the move. Having completed the move on Tuesday, Traoré left Tunis on Wednesday to return to his family in Mali, and will begin training with his new team-mates in Moscow on 5 January as the Russian domestic league ended in November. The UEFA Cup resumes after its winter break on 15 February.

Hicheri interest
Club Africain have also confirmed Lokomotiv's interest in their young defender Walid Hicheri. The 19-year-old is a product of the Tunisian side's youth system, and stands an imposing 1.96m.
