Christensen hits right note for OB

Odense BK have signed 26-year-old striker Kim Christensen from Brøndby IF for an undisclosed fee. "OB is an exciting club," he said.

Only three days after signing Danish Under-21 winger Johan Absalonsen from Brøndby IF, UEFA Cup contenders Odense BK have returned to last season's Superliga runners-up to sign 26-year-old striker Kim Christensen for an undisclosed fee.

Exciting club
"OB is an exciting club with great potential, and the team's way of playing fits very well with my own style," said Christensen, who has agreed a three-year deal and is seen as the answer to OB's striker shortage. OB director Kim Brink added: "The signing of Kim Christensen strengthens our attack considerably and brings us close to having the squad we want."

Llanelli test
Christensen, 26, is an experienced forward who has played for a number of clubs both at home and abroad. After starting his career at Lyngby FC he spent 18 months at Hamburger SV and two seasons in Holland with FC Twente before returning to Denmark and Brøndby in 2005. He has scored once in three substitute appearances for Brøndby this season. OB are at home to Welsh side Llanelli AFC in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Cup on Thursday.
