Nancy tie up Dia deal

France Under-19 striker Issiar Dia will spend the next five years with AS Nancy-Lorraine after the French League Cup winners signed the teenager for an undisclosed fee from Amiens SC.

The 19-year-old scored eight goals in 29 appearances in Ligue 2 last season and will play his last game for Amiens against Le Havre AC in the League Cup tonight. "He's a player who can quicken up the game," said Nancy coach Pablo Correa, for whom Dia is a third summer signing following the acquisitions of defender David Sauget and Nigerian striker Tosin Dosunmu. The club enter the UEFA Cup in the first round, with the draw taking place in Monaco on Friday.
