'It won't change me'
The 19-year-old midfielder, a product of the club's youth academy, has agreed to stay with the club until June 2009. "I'm particularly happy to stay with the side where I grew up," he said. "But it won't change me. I'll keep playing like I do in the reserve team." Chantôme started PSG's League Cup first round win at home against FC Lorient last week and has also appeared in one Ligue 1 game and in the UEFA Cup first round first leg at Derry which ended goalless. The second leg is in the French capital.
Dhorasoo disciplined
Meanwhile, PSG have suspended French international Vikash Dhorasoo as a result of "public statements and recent actions" after the 32-year-old midfielder was left out of Guy Lacombe's first team. "The club's directors have called the player to a meeting early next week with president Alain Cayzac in order to hear his observations on the latest events," read an official statement. "Considering the seriousness of the situation, the club have decided to suspend the player from today until a decision is made following the meeting."
