Osasuna midfielders back in action

CA Osasuna have received a welcome boost ahead of the first leg of their UEFA Cup semi-final with holders Sevilla FC, as midfield pair Ludovic Delporte and Patxi Puñal have been declared fit after injury.

Training injuries
The 31-year-old Puñal, who has featured in 24 Primera División matches this season as well as eight UEFA Cup games, has been out of action since 28 March after spraining ligaments in his right ankle in training. The 27-year-old Delporte, meanwhile, who is in his third campaign with Osasuna, has finally overcome a pulled calf muscle, also sustained in training, which has sidelined the Frenchman since 3 January. Both are available for Sunday's league trip to RC Deportivo La Coruña. Another midfielder, 26-year-old Iranian international Javad Nekounam, is still recovering from a sprain to his right knee and will be assessed again next week.
