A versatile performer who can also play on the left flank, the 23-year-old has joined the Athens side on a four-year contract after scoring 12 goals in 72 league games for Corinthians. The former AD São Caetano man played alongside the likes of Carlos Tévez, Javier Mascherano and Gustavo Nery at Corinthians and is Panathinaikos's sixth new recruit of the summer following the arrivals of Georgios Karagounis, Dame N'Doye, Elini Dimoutsos, Arkadiusz Malartz and Orestis Karnezis. Panathinaikos finished third in the Greek Super League to qualify for the UEFA Cup.
