The 24-year-old said: "Spurs have the calibre of squad that any player would want to be part of. The spirit in the squad is terrific, the club is ambitious and undoubtedly moving forward." Jenas, capped 17 times by his country, cost Tottenham €11.5m when he joined from Newcastle United FC in 2005. The former Nottingham Forest FC trainee will hope to impress when Martin Jol's team start their UEFA Cup campaign in the first round.
