Samuel struck down at Bolton

The Bolton Wanderers FC left-back Jlloyd Samuel will be sidelined for six weeks after tearing a hamstring in his left leg during the defeat at Birmingham City FC.

Free transfer
The 26-year-old picked up the injury during his side's 1-0 Premier League defeat at Birmingham City FC on Saturday and he is unlikely to be available again until November. Samuel joined Bolton on a free transfer from Aston Villa FC in July, signing a four-year contract. Sammy Lee's team travel to F.Y.R. Macedonia to take on FK Rabotnicki in the UEFA Cup first round on Thursday.
