Striker José Paolo Guerrero will miss Hamburger SV's first game in UEFA Cup Group D after being sidelined for a fortnight by a torn muscle in his right thigh.
The 23-year-old Peruvian international suffered the injury at an airport having sprinted while carrying heavy luggage. Former FC Bayern München player Guerrero, who has scored once in eight Bundesliga appearances for Hamburg this season, will therefore sit out the trip to Norway's SK Brann on 25 October which kicks off their Group D campaign.
