Morocco centre-back Abdeslam Ouaddou has joined AS Nancy-Lorraine for a second spell after signing from Valenciennes FC for an undisclosed fee.

Nancy return
The 29-year-old has penned a four-year deal with the 2008/09 UEFA Cup first round challengers, the side where he started his professional career after moving to the area from his homeland. "He was one of our main targets," the French club said. Ouaddou had subsequent spells at Fulham FC, Stade Rennais FC and Olympiacos CFP gaining European experience at each club before moving to Valenciennes in 2007 and becoming the team's captain, playing 32 Ligue 1 games last season. He is the second defender Nancy have signed this summer after Joël Sami's arrival from Amiens SC.
