Undisclosed fees
Portuguese attacker Jorge Gonçalves has arrived from Leixões SC with the 24-year-old reportedly agreeing a four-season deal. His fee is undisclosed, as is that for midfielder Peter Luccin, 29, who comes in from Real Zaragoza to continue a career that has taken the Frenchman to AS Cannes, FC Girondins de Bordeaux, Olympique de Marseille, Paris Saint-Germain FC, RC Celta de Vigo and Club Atlético de Madrid.

Valera loan
Racing's third recruit is Atlético right-back Juan Valera, a 23-year-old former Spanish Under-21 international, captured on a 12-month loan. The Cantabrian club, whose only previous European campaign was a run to the 2003 UEFA Intertoto Cup third round, meet FC Honka Espoo of Finland in the UEFA Cup first round on 18 September and 2 October.
