Landmark goal
Feindouno initially made his mark in French football with FC Girondins de Bordeaux, for whom he scored the goal which sealed the title in 1998/99. The forward, 27, joined Les Verts in June 2004 and went on to find the net 34 times in 138 league games. He also marked his final appearance for St-Etienne with a goal, the winner in the away first leg of their UEFA Cup first-round tie against Hapoel Tel-Aviv FC on 18 September. The 28-year-old Nivaldo, meanwhile, made 14 Ligue 1 appearances last term after arriving from CF Os Belenenses in Portugal but was yet to feature this season.
