Latest addition
The 27-year-old Bonera is the latest addition to coach Carlo Ancelotti's long injury list, and joins Alessandro Nesta, Marco Borriello and Gennaro Gattuso on the sidelines. The former Parma FC player has become a key player in Ancelotti's defence since Nesta was ruled out due to an intervertebral hernia at the start of the season. Bonera will be out of action for three weeks and will miss the league games against Juventus and Udinese Calcio, as well as the meeting with Wolfsburg. The Rossoneri are already through to the Round of 32 but need to beat the German side if they are to finish top of Group E.
