Fenerbahçe SK have signed Kayserispor midfielder Mehmet Topuz and Gaziantepspor defender Bekir İrtegün, with the latter confident he can "cope with the pressure" after signing a four-year contract.
'Not afraid'
Bekir has joined the Istanbul side on a free transfer after playing 125 league games for the club he first joined as a trainee in 1999. The 25-year-old said: "I have enough self-confidence to cope with the pressure, so I am not afraid of anything." He will be joined at his new side by 16-times capped right-sided midfielder Mehmet Topuz, who has signed a three-year contract after Fenerbahçe paid a €5m fee for the 24-year-old in a deal which saw winger Gökhan Emreciksin move to Kayserispor. Fenerbahçe start their UEFA Europa League campaign in the third qualifying round.
