Villarreal CF left-back Joan Capdevila will not be available for the UEFA Europa League visit of NK Dinamo Zagreb after twisting his left ankle.
The 32-year-old left-back was substituted in the second half of the 1-1 draw against Valencia CF on Saturday and now faces up to three weeks on the sidelines.
The 2 December visit of the Croatian champions, who, along with leaders PAOK FC, lead Villarreal by a point in Group D, will therefore come too soon for Capdevila.
The defender has made 21 appearances for club and country this season after helping Spain win the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
