Arizmendi ruled out for Getafe's OB trip

Forward Javier Arizmendi will be unavailable for Getafe CF's crucial UEFA Europa League tie at Odense BK next week after being ruled out for two weeks with a left thigh strain.

Getafe CF have lost Javier Arizmendi for their vital UEFA Europa League encounter against Odense BK next Thursday, with the attacker succumbing to a left thigh strain.

The 26-year-old has been unable to train since being substituted during Monday's 1-1 Spanish Liga home draw against his previous side Real Zaragoza. The club have now announced that, having undergone tests throughout the week, the player will be out of action for two weeks.

Arizmendi has scored three goals in 13 appearances in all competitions this season, one coming in Getafe's win against OB on Matchday 1. Trailing VfB Stuttgart and BSC Young Boys in UEFA Europa League Group H, Míchel's men must avoid defeat in Denmark to keep their slim round of 32 hopes alive.
