Sevilla FC have continued their preparations for next season's UEFA Europa League campaign with the signing of right-back Jorge Andújar from Rayo Vallecano de Madrid.

Commonly referred to as 'Coke', the defender was a pivotal figure in Rayo Vallecano's promotion from the second division last season. He will join Sevilla, who finished fifth in the top flight, on a four-year deal subject to passing a medical.

Sevilla, who on Thursday agreed to sell midfielder Didier Zokora to Trabzonspor AŞ, will play in next term's UEFA Europa League play-offs for a place in the group stage. They have also bolstered their ranks with the signings of Martín Cáceres, Piotr Trochowski and Manu.
