Boateng swaps Getafe for Ramos's Dnipro

Midfielder Derek Boateng has signed a four-year contract with Ukrainian side FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, joining from Getafe CF in a move thought to be in the region of €6m.

FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk have signed Ghana international Derek Boateng from Getafe CF in a deal thought to be in the region of €6m.

The 28-year-old has signed a contract running until summer 2015 with Juande Ramos's side after two seasons and over 60 appearances in Spain with Getafe. The former Panathinaikos FC and 1. FC Köln midfielder arrives in Ukraine to bolster a squad gearing up for the UEFA Europa League play-off round having finished fourth in the Premier League last term.
