UEFA will unveil the visual identity created for the 2012 UEFA Europa League final on Friday 25 November in Bucharest.

The unveiling ceremony – the first official milestone on the road to the final – will take place in the VIP Hospitality Lounge of the National Arena Bucharest, starting at 17.00 local time (16.00CET).

The event design will be launched in the presence of 2012 UEFA Europa League final ambassador Miodrag Belodedici, with the former Romania defender and two-time European Champion Clubs' Cup winner welcoming the UEFA Europa League final to Bucharest alongside the mayor of Bucharest, the president of the National Sports and Youth Authority, the president of the Romanian Football Federation (FRF) and representatives from UEFA.

The UEFA Europa League final, to be played on Wednesday 9 May at the National Arena Bucharest, has been given a personality of its own with a complete design concept developed specially for the showpiece match. The design and logo provide the 2012 final with a unique identity which will be applied across a range of applications, with the aim of promoting the final and enhancing the prestige of one of the world's biggest sporting events. The initial idea behind the creation of a new identity for each final was to develop a design with a distinctive flavour of the host city.

Details of final ticket sales for football fans in Romania will be announced at Friday's ceremony.

Media representatives wishing to attend this first official event ahead of the 2012 final should contact the FRF via email to paul.zaharia@frf.ro for accreditation.
