FC Rubin Kazan have signalled their intentions ahead of this season's UEFA Europa League group stage by signing Venezuelan international José Rondón for a reported fee of €10m.
The 22-year-old has put pen to paper on a four-year deal, ending an association with Málaga CF which began in 2010 following his switch from UD Las Palmas. Rondón arrives in Russia having scored 11 goals last term to secure Málaga a UEFA Champions League berth. He also boasts international pedigree with eight goals in 24 appearances for his country.
Rubin will join the UEFA Europa League when the group stage kicks off on 20 September.
