UEFA Europa League hopefuls Tottenham Hotspur FC have completed the signing of Belgian international Moussa Dembélé from Fulham FC for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old passed a medical with Fulham's London rivals Tottenham on Wednesday and he is thought to have put pen to paper on a five-year contract. Dembélé impressed at Craven Cottage after arriving from Dutch outfit AZ Alkmaar in 2010, making 62 Premier League appearances for Fulham.

Attacking midfielder Dembélé becomes Spurs manager André Villas-Boas's fourth summer recruit, following the additions of Gylfi Sigurdsson, Jan Vertonghen and Emmanuel Adebayor, and will help fill the playmaking void created by the departure of Luka Modrić to Real Madrid CF.

Dembélé has plenty of European experience, having reached the last 16 of the UEFA Cup in 2007 and participated in the 2009/10 UEFA Champions League group stage, both with AZ. Tottenham begin their UEFA Europa League campaign at the group stage and will learn their opponents on Friday.
