Goalkeeper Vladimir Gabulov, defender Christopher Samba and attacking midfielder Aleksei Ionov have all moved from FC Anji Makhachkala to FC Dinamo Moskva for a combined fee of around €8m.

Dinamo had earlier signed three more players from UEFA Europa League contenders Anji – Yuri Zhirkov, Igor Denisov and Aleksandr Kokorin. "Every coach wants to strengthen his team, but we are very well set up already," said Dinamo coach Dan Petrescu. "We have 22 strong players in the squad and there will be tough competition among them, but I would have been more happy if we had signed these newcomers in pre-season."

Anji have also allowed Arseni Logashov to join FC Lokomotiv Moskva but have replenished their squad by signing Serghei Epureanu, Alan Gatagov, Vladimir Sobolev and Pavel Solomatin on loan from Dinamo.

Moldovan defender Epureanu will stay at Anji until the winter break with the other three to stay with the Dagestan club until the end of the season. Also signing is Armenia midfielder Karlen Mkrtchyan from FC Metalurh Donetsk.
