We started really brightly but faded, and ironically we scored at a time when we weren't playing that well. Overall we forgot to reward ourselves for the dominance we showed. We also made things unnecessarily difficult for ourselves by being sloppy in possession and loose in our passing. In the second half we simply didn't reach the level we expect of ourselves.

It's always a mystery why things don't go as well as you want. I don't think it's down to a lack of concentration – the boys are always fully focused on the match. Whatever happens we always strive to be at our best. However, we got the three points, which was our goal, so we're definitely pleased about that.

Paweł Kieszek, Estoril goalkeeper
We are obviously not happy because we lost. In the first half we didn't play well, that much was clear. In the second half it was better, they only had a couple of attempts on my goal and we even had a good opportunity to score.

We have a young team. The thing is, so do PSV, but they have the experience because they are always taking part in European competition. That makes a big difference. They also have a system. I played here three years ago for Roda JC and we lost 7-1, and you notice that the way they play is exactly the same.

We're not a big club, but we play good football. We did it in last year's Europa League too, but didn't manage to win. So we want to win a minimum of one game in the group this time. It's important to us.
