Of course there's some frustration there. When you play a match of this level you always want to win. At the moment we are struggling to score the goals we need when we are on top. There are lots of positives to take out of this game as we matched a team that finished in the top five in England. Mathematically, everything is still possible from our point of view. We have to keep working and not allow our heads to drop.

Vincent Enyeama, LOSC goalkeeper
The first game against Everton is now in the history books and we'll only start thinking about the second match against them when it comes around in a couple of weeks. We will win that game, I am convinced of that. We were very close to winning against Wolfsburg so anything can happen. I don't have much to say about the save I made from Aiden McGeady. The important thing is we did well as a team. We did exceptionally well today. We were tight and compact in the middle.

Tim Howard, Everton goalkeeper
There weren't many chances for either side. I'm always happy with a clean sheet and when you are top of the group you can deal with a draw. We have two home games remaining and we need to win those games. If we do that then we'll go through. Sylvain Distin and Phil Jagielka have been a partnership together for such a long time and those guys know how to play together so well.

Romelu Lukaku came on and almost created a goal straight away. He's such a strong, powerful player and the substitution nearly paid off. I think Roberto Martínez picked a team he felt could win and then we had something in reserve. They had a couple of shots that drifted into my body and then there was one from Idrissa Gueye that had me at full stretch and hit the outside of the post.

Leighton Baines, Everton defender
I don't know if either side will have taken much info out of this game as it was a bit scrappy and devoid of the quality that we'd usually expect from ourselves. We showed the other side of our game – the capability to dig in and stay in the game. I wouldn't imagine the opposition would be particularly pleased with how they played either and I don't think it was a terrific game. The pitch wasn't that conducive to either side playing good football and a draw was probably the right result.

We go out to try to win every game and dominate games and not to just try to nick something late on. We will look to win our remaining home games and if we keep getting clean sheets away from home then we will qualify.
