The top five remain fundamentally unchanged, but domestic exploits mean there are plenty of players still jostling for places around the summit of the UEFA Europa League form guide.

6: Manu Trigueros (Villarreal)
Days after scoring a sublime chipped winner against Steaua, Manu Trigueros broke the deadlock in Monday's tremendous 3-0 victory over Atlético. The midfielder contributed six tackles, won three aerial duels and produced four dribbles in an excellent all-round display to move 12 places up the rankings.

37: Ander Herrera (Manchester United)
Rising 26 places, the midfielder was excellent versus Zorya Luhansk – where he made 116 accurate passes and recovered the ball seven times – and gave another assured showing in the 1-0 Premier League triumph over Tottenham Hotspur, including laying on four chances and an assist.

41: Stéphane Ruffier (St-Étienne)
St-Étienne have their goalkeeper to thank for a 1-0 weekend success over Guingamp. Ruffier was kept busy throughout, compiling eight saves in total – five from shots inside the box and three from outside – in a performance which helps him climb 32 spots in the standings.

44: Garry Rodrigues (PAOK)
The PAOK winger was on the scoresheet in the 2-0 matchday six victory over Slovan Liberec which secured his side's qualification for the knockout stage, and he continued his good form by supplying an assist in domestic action – in PAOK's 3-0 win against Platanias.

91: Iñigo Lekue (Athletic Club)
The right-back has been the bright spark in what has been a winless week for Athletic, ascending 22 places. Against Rapid Wien in the Europa League, Lekue showed his worth at both ends of the pitch, and he maintained that versus Real Betis in the Liga, delivering five crosses and a decent chance.
