Swiss Super League outfit FC Sion have signed Colombian international midfielder Alvaro José Dominguez from Deportivo Cali.
Cali success
The 26-year old attacking midfielder has signed a four-year deal with the UEFA Cup hopefuls, committing until 2011. Voted Colombian player of the season last term, Cerrito-born Dominguez has made more than 150 appearances for Cali since joining from CD Atlético Huila ahead of the 2003 campaign, winning the league two years ago. He is on international duty at the Copa América, starting the 5-0 defeat by Paraguay last week.
