Everton have agreed to sign Philippe Senderos on loan from Arsenal FC for the rest of the season, while Legia Warszawa goalkeeper Ján Mucha will also join the club on a three-year contract in the summer.
Swiss international Senderos has been limited to League Cup appearances this season and was searching for first-team football ahead of the FIFA World Cup. The 24-year-old will help fill the void created by Lucas Neill's switch to Galatasaray AŞ. Meanwhile, the Toffees have also confirmed that Slovakia No1 Mucha will arrive on a free transfer after the World Cup following the expiry of his contract in the Polish capital. Everton face Sporting Clube de Portugal in the UEFA Europa League round of 32 next month.
