French Cup winners Paris Saint-Germain FC have agreed a two-year contract extension with right-back Sylvain Armand, keeping the 26-year-old in the capital until summer 2010.
Armand happy
"I'm delighted to renew my contract and feel very happy here," Armand said. Meanwhile, his rival for the right-back slot, Stéphane Pichot, has agreed to join FC Sochaux-Montbéliard. The 29-year-old has accepted a three-year deal with the Ligue 1 outfit, explaining: "I really needed to play more to get that sharpness back in my game. Considering I had been honest with them, the PSG directors promised not to demand a high fee for me."
Djadjedje loan
The Parisian club - who enter the UEFA Cup in the first round - have also loaned 20-year-old striker Franck Djadjedje to Grenoble Foot 38 for the 2006/07 season. The French Under-18 international made two Ligue 1 appearances last term.
