The 30-year-old Ivory Coast-born defender was a free agent after leaving French side OGC Nice during the summer. Bolton manager Sam Allardyce said: "With the injuries we have, I had to move quickly. Martin is an excellent all-round player." The English Premiership club have injuries to defenders Nicky Hunt and Iván Campo.
Fulham loan spell
Djetou played for RC Strasbourg, AS Monaco FC and Parma FC before spending two seasons on loan at Fulham FC in England from the Italian team between 2002 and 2004.
