Points to be made at Tromsø

Tromsø IL welcome FK Crvena Zvezda, also without a point, to the Alfheim stadium, knowing they must win to keep their UEFA Cup hopes alive.

Hirschfeld worry
The Norwegian club have endured a miserable start to their campaign, losing 2-1 at home against AS Roma and then 2-0 at RC Strasbourg. They also have injury concerns over two of their key players, with Canada goalkeeper Lars Hirschfeld nursing a knee problem that kept him out of his country's international against Luxembourg last week.

No games
"If I play, it will be with pain," Hirschfeld said. "But I'm not in the mood to miss this match." Tromsø have not had an ideal preparation as a scheduled practice match against Rosenborg BK was cancelled because of trouble with their plane to Trondheim.

Coach leaving
Meanwhile, striker Ole Martin Årst picked up a thigh injury on duty for Norway last week. He did not train on Tuesday, but is expected to play. "We need a win to have any chance of going through," said Steinar Nilsen who could be in charge of his last home game as Tromsø coach as he will leave the club at the end of their European campaign.

Surprise defeat
Crvena Zvezda, who warmed up with a 2-1 weekend win against FK Zemun, have also yet to taste a victory in the group. They surprisingly lost 2-1 at home in their opening match against FC Basel 1893 before sitting out Matchday 2. Italian coach Walter Zenga has taken 21 players to Norway but left behind two key men, namely midfielder Boško Janković (broken nose) and forward Milanko Rašković (back).

Clever and careful
Zenga also has worries about attack-minded players Nikola Žigić (thigh) and Dragan Mladenović (leg) but both will train in advance of the match, while midfielder Marko Perović is fit again. "After defeat in our first match at home, we simply must do something good - beat Tromso and win three points. Tromsø are a good team, they have a brilliant workers. We must be clever and careful, but I am not afraid."
