The UEFA Cup hopefuls have agreed a two-year deal with the twice-capped former PSV Eindhoven player. Bruggink, 27, had been released from his contract with Mallorca, the Spanish side he joined in 2003. His arrival will strengthen Heerenveen's attacking options following the departures of Richard Knopper for SBV Vitesse and Gerald Sibon for PSV.
