The 29-year-old spent four months on loan at Hearts last season from Preston North End FC and was persuaded to come back on a permanent basis by the prospect of UEFA Cup football. The Tynecastle club's manager Craig Levein said: "The good thing is that Tepi wanted to play here - he had a good spell at the club last season and did well for us."
Everyone happy
Levein added: "He knows the players, the set-up and the way we play so it was a win-win situation really." With Moilanen in goal, Hearts secured third place in the Scottish Premier League last season and return to European action next month.
