UEFA Cup final ticket update
Friday, May 9, 2003
Article summary
UEFA has issued an update regarding the ticketing situation for the UEFA Cup final, which is a 52,000 sell-out.
Article body
The final of the UEFA Cup will take place on Wednesday 21 May at the Estadio Olímpico in Seville, Spain in front of a sell-out crowd of 52,000 spectators.
All tickets sold
UEFA and the Local Organising Committee (LOC) wish to clarify that all tickets have now been sold and no more are available for public sales, either on the international or on the national market. Each finalist has been allocated 15,700 tickets. Celtic FC and FC Porto will soon inform their supporters about the way they will distribute these tickets.
Successful applicants
With regard to the tickets sold online via the ticketing agency TickTackTicket in early March, all successful applicants have been informed via email and received a ten-digit reference number. Furthermore, their credit card has also been debited with the corresponding amount. If someone has not had this reference number and his or her credit card account has not been debited yet, it means that the application has not passed through all the necessary steps to complete the procedure.
Contact details
For questions regarding online sales via TickTackTicket (eg lost email confirmation, sending of tickets), the following telephone number is available: 0034 902 150025. Operators speak Spanish and English and the office will be open between 09.00CET and 19.00CET.
Ticket dispatch
As stated in the email confirmation sent to all successful applicants, all tickets have been sent out this week by express courier and should be delivered within the next few days if not already received. UEFA and the LOC confirm that the capacity for the UEFA Cup final remains unchanged at 52,000.

With regard to tickets that have appeared on internet websites, UEFA wishes to state once again that UEFA is not dealing with agencies concerning the selling of final tickets. Tickets are personal and not transferable (see excerpts from UEFA CUP FINAL Ticketing Terms and Conditions below) and fans are invited not to buy tickets via any other than the official channels of the two finalist clubs.
