FC Twente have signed Dutch Under-21 international striker Luc Castaignos from FC Internazionale Milano on a four-year contract.
The Tukkers have reportedly paid €6m for the 19-year-old, who is expected to help fill the void left by Luuk de Jong's departure to VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach.
"I am very happy to be able to come and play here," he said after securing a return to the Netherlands following a breakthrough season at Feyenoord in 2010/11 when he scored 15 goals in 34 Eredivisie appearances. "FC Twente have become a big club and they compete for the championship which is one of my goals. I want to win the league with FC Twente."
Twente coach Steve McClaren added: "Castaignos is a great signing. After the departure of Luuk de Jong we wanted to have a young talent, and Luc is one of the best Dutch talents in his age category."
The Eredivisie side take on FK Mladá Boleslav from the Czech Republic in the third qualifying round with the first leg taking place in Enschede on Thursday before the return in Mlada Boleslav next week.
