Villas-Boas looks to 'power' of Zenit fans

FC Zenit coach André Villas-Boas feels "the power of our home fans" could be enough for the Russian Premier League side to overturn their 2-1 first-leg defeat by Sevilla FC.

Despite conceding a late goal which left his side 2-1 down going into the second leg, Zenit coach André Villas-Boas said he was still "hopeful" and able to "dream of the semi-finals".

FC Zenit may have been denied a draw at the death by Sevilla FC but André Villas-Boas remains optimistic his side can progress to the UEFA Europa League semi-finals. Though the Russian Premier League leaders ultimately surrendered the first-half lead given to them by Aleksandr Ryazantsev, Villas-Boas believes their away goal could prove "very important" come next week's quarter-final decider. What's more, the Zenit coach feels "the power of our fans" can be a real factor in determining the second-leg outcome.
