French side FC Girondins de Bordeaux have ended a busy week for the club by awarding full-backs Franck Jurietti and Benoît Trémoulinas contract extensions.

FC Girondins de Bordeaux have concluded a busy week by awarding defenders Franck Jurietti and Benoît Trémoulinas new contracts.

New deals
Both Jurietti and Trémoulinas were originally contracted to the club until June 2008 but full-back Jurietti, who has won one cap for France, has added an extra season to that deal while 21-year-old left-back Trémoulinas will stay with the club until 2010. The Ligue 1 club, who as French League Cup winners will play in the 2007/08 UEFA Cup first round, paid Olympique Lyonnais €7.75m for France midfielder Alou Diarra on Thursday, four days after signing David Bellion from OGC Nice.
