Magath tips Wolze for Wolfsburg success

VfL Wolfsburg's Felix Magath is tipping 18-year-old Germany youth international Kevin Wolze to make the grade after his return from Bolton Wanderers FC.

Youth success
Wolze, a trainee at hometown club Wolfsburg before moving to England in 2007, has signed a three-year contract and will aim to make his first senior appearances when the new season starts. He is well regarded in his homeland having impressed for Germany at the UEFA European Under-17 Championship last year before helping the side to the semi-finals of the FIFA U-17 World Cup. Magath, whose team enter the UEFA Cup in the first round, said: "A player from Wolfsburg fits in nicely with our concept. He is still young and has not played in the top flight. But he can make it in the Bundesliga."
