Real Racing Club Santander have signed left-back László Sepsi from fellow UEFA Cup contenders SL Benfica on a one-year loan deal.
The 22-year-old, who won his sole senior Romania cap in March's 3-0 friendly defeat of Russia, made seven league appearances for the Lisbon club last term after joining from CF Gloria 1922 Bistrita in January. Last season's sixth-place finishers in the Spanish Liga have the option to make the deal permanent next summer. Sepsi is Racing's third summer recruit following the arrivals of Zé Antonio and Jonathan Pereira as the club prepare to make their UEFA Cup bow.
