FC Nordsjælland are through to the first round of the UEFA Cup after defeating Queen of the South FC 2-1 at Farum Park to advance 4-2 on aggregate.

Harris strike
Nearly 1,000 fans of the Scottish side made the trip to the northern suburbs of Copenhagen and they soon had reason to cheer – Robert Harris firing them in front from 30 metres in the second minute after a free-kick was played short to him. The visiting team dominated most of the first half without creating any further scoring opportunities and Nordsjælland came more into the game after the interval.

Bernburg double
Queen of the South still looked the more threatening on the break, but as the match wore on they were forced to take risks and eventually the hosts made the extra space tell. With five minutes remaining Martin Bernburg drew Nordsjælland level when he turned in Henrik Kildentoft's low cross from the right and in the last minute he added the second after racing clear to ensure the Danish side's progress.
