Casemiro has received the official Player of the Match award following Real Madrid's 2-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2022 UEFA Super Cup in Helsinki.
The midfielder was at his imperious best at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium and nearly capped a wonderful display with a second-half goal only for the bar to deny him.
Speaking about Casemiro's performance, UEFA's Technical Observer panel said: "He balanced the game well when his team attacked. He also won all his tackles in very important areas to support his central defenders and assisted the first goal."
