Two-time U19 winners France will fear no one in Greece after coming out on top in five of their six qualifiers and sealing their spot by beating elite round rivals England 2-1 in a winner-takes-all showdown. Olympique Lyonnais forward Gnaly Cornet got the decisive goal in that game and is one of a number of players available to coach Patrick Gonfalone with valuable top-flight experience, a list that also includes livewire Juventus prospect Kingsley Coman. "We won it in 2000 [when the competition was a U18 event], 2005 and 2010, so our objective will be to be up there with the best," commented Gonfalone. "We will compete to go as far as possible."
