Tritschoks thrilled by Frankfurt feat

Both teams played fantastically well today, we were never sure if we had won because they always had the ability to come back. I want to congratulate my team on an amazing performance, we were lucky at the end but I think we deserved to win and we had more chances. I also want to point out we have reached a new dimension in women's football today, the attendance says it all. I am already looking forward to the 2011 [FIFA] Women's World Cup in Germany where there will be a football festival played in a friendly atmosphere. Both teams played attacking games and that is very special for women's football. It was an amazing game for the spectators because of that. I am really happy to have won this title and now we will focus on the Frauen-Bundesliga as that is the next title I want to win before I leave

It was very disappointing. I thought we had a good chance of winning this game. In the first leg in Umea we were the better team, today Frankfurt were the better team; they took advantage of their chances and scored and we didn't. Finishing was the difference and we also gave them two easy goals. [I left striker Ramona Bachmann out of the starting lineup because] I think we needed another player in midfield. We had a good chance to get it to 3-3; if we got into their box we always had a chance to score goals but we needed to be there more often. The size of the crowd is the way it should be in the European final and I hope it will continue like this to spread women's football in Europe. We will do our best to go far in future years. It was a great match for the spectators, I might have made some wrong decisions but I won't criticise any players in public. But I think we shouldn't have conceded three goals.

This is maybe one of the most important moments of my time in management. It was more than just as fantastic game; 15 years ago we sometimes played in front of 500 spectators and people would have laughed at us if we talked about an attendance like today.
