It is recommended to plan your journey in advance and make your way to the stadium from two hours before kick-off to make the most of the pre-match atmosphere and to clear security and ticket checks.

By car 🚗❌

Do not drive to the stadium as there will be no parking available to the general public.

Road closures will be in place. Motorway and city traffic will be considerably busy.

If you must drive, please allow sufficient time and use P+Rail facilities to avoid the traffic in Geneva city centre.

By taxi / rideshare 🚖

Travelling by rideshare is not recommended on matchday due to traffic restrictions around the city centre and stadium.

If you must travel by taxi, use the designated taxi drop-off / pick-up point at Parking La Praille.

Experience matchday fever at the Fan Meeting Point and join the Fan Walk! Come and feel the excitement with other fans and build up the energy before kick-off.

Volunteers will be around to guide you to the closest public transport hubs.

🚄 From Lancy-Pont-Rouge (15-min walk from the stadium), use trains RL1, RL2, RL3, RL4, RE33, and extra trains to Genève Cornavin and continue your journey to Lausanne, Fribourg, and Sion.

🚄 From Lancy-Bachet (10-min walk from the stadium), use trains RL1, RL2, RL3, RL4 or RE33 to Annemasse.

🚋 Tram 15 from Lancy-Pont-Rouge will also take you to Genève Cornavin

Extra trains from Geneva:

From Genève Cornavin, extra trains will run to Neuchâtel, Bern, Biel/Bienne, Olten (partly with connecting trains to Basel and Lucerne), Zurich, and Winterthur.

For the quarter-final and semi-final match in Geneva

⏱️ If the match goes into extra time or penalties, extra SBB trains will wait and depart 40–60 minutes later than scheduled.

⚠️ Important: Regular trains and standard connections won’t wait. SBB can only guarantee late-night return travel to destinations served by the extra trains.

🚉 Free matchday travel

As a Women’s EURO match ticket holder, you can travel from anywhere in Switzerland to the stadium and back on the day of your match – for free! The offer is valid for the entire Swiss public transport network.

Simply show your mobile match ticket to staff on public transport services if requested.

Free matchday travel is valid:

  • For Women’s EURO 2025 ticket holders only
  • For a return journey from any Swiss locality to the match venue (stadium) via the direct route
  • On all rail, trams, buses and boats in the Swiss public transport network
  • On the day of your match only (from 00:00 until the last scheduled stop that can be reached before 05:00 on the following day)
  • In second class only (upgrade to first class possible at regular upgrade fare, see the SBB website for more info on how to upgrade)

ℹ️ Travelling by train in Switzerland

Extra trains during the tournament 🥳

SBB will operate more than 400 extra trains during UEFA Women's EURO 2025 to make travelling home after the matches a breeze.

Late night services from the Host Cities to various locations across Switzerland will ensure you get home safely and comfortably after your match.

Check the online timetable (SBB app / website) for your connections and live departure information. Look out for the "EXT" icon to find the extra trains.

Buying tickets

You must purchase a valid ticket before boarding public transport on days when you are not attending a match.

Tickets can be purchased online, on the SBB app or at ticket machines, which are present at most train stations in Switzerland. Tickets for other public transport, such as trams and buses, can also be purchased at train stations, on the SBB app or from ticket machines at respective stops.
