🚆 Free public transport for Women’s EURO ticket holders
On matchday, match tickets will be valid for a second-class return journey on public transport from any Swiss locality to the match venue. Check below for more info ⬇️
🏟️ Travelling to the stadium
It is recommended to plan your journey in advance and make your way to the stadium at least two hours before kick-off to make the most of the pre-match atmosphere and to pass through security and ticket checks.
Use S5 or S1 from St.Gallen main station to St.Gallen Winkeln. It is about a 15-minute walk to Arena St.Gallen.
⏲️ Total journey time: approx. 20 minutes
🚆 Extra trains are operating from Zurich HB / Winterthur to St.Gallen Winkeln.
📲 Use the SBB app or website for departure information.
Dedicated Extrabuses will depart from the Fan Zone (stop: Marktplatz Bohl) and from St.Gallen train station.
⏲️ Total journey time: approx. 15 minutes
Three bus lines service the stadium:
➡️ 151 from St.Gallen train station and Gossau to bus stop Arena
➡️ 158 from Herisau to bus stop Arena
➡️ 1 from St.Gallen train station to bus stop Westcenter
⏲️ Journey time from St.Gallen station: approx. 15 - 20 minutes depending on bus service
If you live in the area, why not hop on your bike and choose a sustainable and practical journey to Arena St.Gallen. Bike routes are signposted.
⏲️ Journey time from the city centre: approx. 30 minutes
Travelling by car is not recommended during Women’s EURO 2025. Please use public transport. There will be road closures and traffic restrictions in place between the city centre and the stadium.
⚠️ Parking at Arena St.Gallen is extremely limited and will be operated on a first come first served basis.
If you must drive, consider using one of the Park + Ride locations to avoid city centre traffic: P+Rail | SBB
(Note: Parking is not included in the free matchday travel offer.)
Travelling by taxi or rideshare is not recommended on matchday due to road closures and traffic restrictions around the city centre and stadium.
If you must travel by taxi or rideshare, use the designated taxi drop-off / pick-up point by the petrol station near the stadium (map coming soon). It is approximately a 5-min walk to the stadium.
👋 After the match
🚌 Buses will operate after the game back to the city centre, Gossau and Herisau. There will be directional signage to help you to the right bus stop.
🚆 S5 and S1 services to the city centre will run from St.Gallen Winkeln station, which is a 15-min walk from the stadium. Extra train services to Winterthur and Zurich HB will also operate from St.Gallen Winkeln after the match.
