The walk from the Fan Zone and Zurich main station is well signposted and will take you approximately 30 minutes.

By bike 🚲

If you live in the area, why not hop on your bike and choose a sustainable and practical journey to Stadium Letzigrund.
Bike parking near the stadium will be available at Bienenstrasse and Hardgutstrasse (stadium map coming soon).

By taxi/rideshare šŸš–āŒ

Travelling by taxi or rideshare is not recommended on matchday due to matchday traffic.

By car šŸš—āŒ

Travelling by car is not recommended during UEFA Women's EURO 2025. Please use public transport. There will be traffic restrictions around the stadium.

If you must drive, considering using one of the Park + Ride locations around Zurich to avoid city centre traffic, and continue your journey via public transport.

From Letzigrund tram stop 🚊

  • Tram E services will run every 3-4 minutes to Zurich main station until 75 minutes after final whistle.
  • Tram 2 services will run every 10 minutes to Bahnhof Stadelhofen until late at night.

From Herderstrasse bus stop 🚌

  • Bus E and 31 will run every 3-4 minutes to Zurich main station until 75 minutes after final whistle.
  • Bus 31 will run every 10 minutes to Bahnhof Altstetten until late at night.

āš ļø For the quarter-final and semi-final match in Zurich:

ā±ļø If the match goes into extra time or penalties, all designated extra SBB trains will wait and depart 40–60 minutes later than scheduled.

As a Women’s EURO match ticket holder, you can travel from anywhere in Switzerland to the stadium and back on the day of your match – for free! The offer is valid for the entire Swiss public transport network.

Simply show your mobile match ticket to staff on public transport services if requested.

Free matchday travel is valid:

  • For Women’s EURO 2025 ticket holders only
  • For a return journey from any Swiss locality to the match venue (stadium) via the direct route
  • On all rail, trams, buses and boats in the Swiss public transport network
  • On the day of your match only (from 00:00 until the last scheduled stop that can be reached before 05:00 on the following day)
  • In second class only (upgrade to first class possible at regular upgrade fare, see the SBB website for more info on how to upgrade)

Children also require a Women’s EURO match ticket to enjoy free matchday travel.

ā„¹ļø Travelling by train in Switzerland

Extra trains during the tournament 🄳

SBB will operate more than 400 extra trains during UEFA Women's EURO 2025 to make travelling home after the matches a breeze.

Late night services from the Host Cities to various locations across Switzerland will ensure you get home safely and comfortably after your match.

Check the online timetable (SBB app / website) for your connections and live departure information. Look out for the "EXT" icon to find the extra trains.

Buying tickets

You must purchase a valid ticket before boarding public transport on days when you are not attending a match.

Tickets can be purchased online, on the SBB app or at ticket machines, which are present at most train stations in Switzerland. Tickets for other public transport, such as trams and buses can also be purchased at train stations, on the SBB app or from ticket machines at respective stops.
