Scotland forward Kim Little looks set to miss UEFA Women's EURO through injury and among those feeling for her are players from the team she was set to face in their opening finals game on 19 July, England.

That match in Utrecht is Scotland's long-awaited finals debut and the Arsenal forward was key to their hopes before suffering an anterior cruciate knee ligament rupture in club training. Gunners colleague Jordan Nobbs said Little is "one of the world's best players [who] truly deserves to play on that big stage", while former club-mate Ellen White added: "I'm heartbroken for her."
