MFK Sinara Ekaterinburg have decided to part ways with Sergei Skorovich, enabling the coach to focus solely on his duties with the Russian national side.
Sinara president Grigori Ivanov said: "I offered Sergei Skorovich the chance to leave our team due to his frequent departures with the national side and poor results with the club. It's hard to fight on two fronts and at the same time Russia face two important tournaments: UEFA Futsal EURO 2012 and the FIFA Futsal World Cup.
"Now Skorovich has the opportunity to fully prepare for these significant competitions without getting distracted by other things. Sinara will now be guided by coach Andrei Yagoda and Igor Putilov."
In his first two seasons at Sinara, Skorovich lifted the Russian Cup and the Ekaterinburg side won the UEFA Futsal Cup in 2008. Skorovich had since been given the role of Russia coach alongside his club position. Russia will face Turkey and Italy in Group C at the UEFA Futsal EURO 2012 finals in February.
