UEFA has today announced the names of the nominees shortlisted for the 2018/19 UEFA Men's and Women’s Player of the Year Awards. The awards will be presented at the 2019/20 UEFA Champions League group stage draw ceremony, which will take place in Monaco on Thursday 29 August.
UEFA has today announced the names of the players shortlisted for the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League positional awards. The awards will honour the best Goalkeeper, Defender, Midfielder and Forward from the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League season, and will be presented during the 2019/20 UEFA Champions League group stage draw in Monaco on Thursday 29 August.
On 3 June 2019, within the UEFA admission process to the 2019/20 UEFA club competitions an investigation was conducted over the admission of the Belgian club KV Mechelen to the UEFA Europa League (UEL). Following the investigation carried out by the UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Inspector and the subsequent admission proceedings, on 15 July 2019 the UEFA Appeals Body had decided to admit KV Mechelen into the 2019/2020 UEL, however, without prejudice to the potential reopening of the proceedings should further information arise in relation to the facts and/or merits of the case, which was also ongoing at national level.

UEFA has received bid dossiers from three member associations to host UEFA Futsal EURO 2022 final tournament.
The associations who have sent their bid dossiers to UEFA are:
• France: Lille and Orchies
• The Netherlands: Amsterdam and Groningen
• Portugal: Lisbon and Porto
The UEFA Executive Committee will select the successful host association on 24 September 2019 in Ljubljana.
The bidding procedure for the selection of the venues to host the finals of the next UEFA Futsal EURO, to be played from 19 January to 6 February 2022, was launched in October 2018 with (see the UEFA Media Release 004).
As from the 2022 edition, the UEFA Futsal EURO will be expanded to feature 16 teams and will now be played every four years.
UEFA has unveiled the ticketing sales policy and ticket prices for UEFA EURO 2020 which, for the first time, will be held across Europe to mark the 60th anniversary of the competition. The tournament, to be staged from 12 June to 12 July 2020, will see the 24 finalist teams playing in 12 different cities: Amsterdam, Baku, Bilbao, Bucharest, Budapest, Copenhagen, Dublin, Glasgow, London, Munich, Rome and Saint Petersburg.

The UEFA Referees Committee has announced that Damir Skomina will referee the 2019 UEFA Champions League final between Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool. The match will be played at the Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid on Saturday 1 June at 21:00CET.
